This is the heart of the geekroom, my music studio. You can get more detailed information on each piece of gear on my gear page. But the photos in this section are nicer. I have a much better quality digital camera now.
This section of the geekroom takes up the bulk of it's space and is where I do a lot of professional work. Behind the computer desk you see here, with the Atari Mega2ST computer is the little cubby space where I do my artwork for the comic as well as surf the net.
You will notice that cables run hither and fro all over the geekroom. Most of them carry either data or audio signals neccessary to run the studio. There are a number of computers employed here but the main workhorse for MIDI applications is still the old Atari ST computer. Those machines were really built with MIDI in mind and run circles around my Pentium machines when it comes to sequencing. The Pentiums get used for digital effects processing and some digital recording work. Most of the digital recording is handled by the Tascam 788 on top of the Atari computer.
