Here's a picture of the far south wall of my "Geekroom". The geekroom is my combination music studio / art studio and where I get a lot of my work done. It's also where I do most of my websurfing from as well this is the place where the comic is usually drawn and where it is coloured.
Here we see some metal shelves that hold a Vectrex and an Atari 2600. The Atari 2600 currently has Paul Slocum's Synthcart plugged into it. It's a neat little combination beat-box and synthesizer for the Atari 2600. I haven't used it in a recording yet, but I have used this Atari 2600 for recordings twice. One was a techno remix of the music for the game Pitfall II, the other was for a techno version of 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall. You can probably find both these songs on your favorite P2P fileshare server if you look hard enough.
The 2600 is hooked up to the old Commodore 1702 monitor because I hacked the 2600 to give it A/V outs instead of having to use the RF Modulator. The other 1702 monitor used to be hooked up to a Nintendo NES that was sitting where the Vectrex is. I temporarily mothballed the NES some time ago.
I don't get much time to play games these days.
